Medical Receptionist - GI
Bethesda, MD
MUST:
Strong customer service skills
Strong documentation skills
Ability to schedule appointments
Comfortable calling patients and checking patients in
Ability to be trained for a medical office position
EMR experience or strong data entry and computer aptitude
Scheduling experience
Processing payments
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
DUTIES:
The Medical Receptionist duties include but are not limited to the following:
Check patients in and out
Collect co-pays
Schedule appointments and procedures
Verify insurance
Respond to medical record requests
Scan records into EMR
Enter patient information into EMR
Check voicemail and call patients back
