Medical Records Assistant - Temp 3+ months – San Mateo - $22/hour

Beloved and well-respected healthcare organization is seeking a temporary Medical Records Assistant. You will obtain the required documentation, compile accurate patient charts and provide general medical office support ensuring efficient office operations. EPIC experience is highly preferred.

Duration: 3 months, possibly longer
Schedule: M-F, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Location: 100% Onsite in San Mateo
Pay: $22 per hour
Background: Clear criminal background check prior to start

The Medical Records Assistant will:

Request informed consent, history, and physical, lab records
Collect necessary patient charting, checking for accuracy to ensure accuracy
Uniformly compile patient charts
Provide administrative support, Data entry

The Medical Records Assistant will have:

1+ years recent experience working in a healthcare setting, medical records is ideal
Experience compiling patient records
General understanding of medical terminology
Excellent keyboarding skills; Prior EMR experience is preferred
EPIC experience is highly preferred
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
