Our growing personal injury law firm in Woodland Hills is seeking a Medical Records Coordinator to join our team onsite. This position plays a key role in supporting our attorneys by handling the medical side of client cases. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in working with medical records or in a legal/medical office setting, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Request, track, and follow up on medical records and bills from providers
Organize and maintain accurate records of client treatment
Create and update medical chronologies and summaries
Communicate with medical offices, clients, and attorneys regarding treatment and records
Ensure all medical documentation supports case development, demand letters, and settlements
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a personal injury law firm, medical office, or legal setting strongly preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with case management software a plus
