Medical Records Specialist

We were founded in 2018 by Dr. David Bartels, focusing on cancer and blood conditions. Today, we provide care services to Medical Oncology and Hematology, Radiation Oncology, Rheumatology, and Urology patients. We are also dedicated to advancing the field by engaging in clinical research and offering our patients the opportunity to participate in various clinical trials.

Duties Include:

• Ensures medical records are organized, accurate, complete, and safeguarded in compliance with HIPAA standards.


• Prepares patient charts and gathers required information and documents from patients.


• Creates digital copies of paperwork and files records electronically in the facility’s database.


• Processes medical records for patient admissions and discharges.


• Operates computer, scanner, fax, copier, and uses multiple medical software programs.


• Provides backup coverage for Reception and New Patient Coordinator as needed.

Preferred Education and Experience: 

• High School Diploma 

Physical Requirements 

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 

• Must be able to lift
  up
  to 15 pounds at times.
