Medical Records Technician

Job Title:  Credentialing & Medical Records Technicians

Location: Lenexa, KS 66219

Duties:

• Medical Records Technician services are required to accurately document the medical readiness of Army National Guard personnel.
• The Medical Records Technician services do not require nursing or medical certifications to perform as they are administrative task only and do not include clinical decision-making.
• The applicant shall typically provide services between the core hours of 0800 to 1700 on Monday through Friday.
• Telephone/Email Soldiers and Physician/Dental offices to obtain information as directed by the Case Manager.
• Provide dedicated assistance in support of medical Case Management.
• Responsible for tracking the medical status of ALL assigned Soldiers and maintaining accurate reports of all cases.

Qualification:

• Background in medicine or social work for those who have not worked in a medical records program is extremely valuable.
