Medical Reviewer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Medical Reviewer to join our team in Zagreb, Croatia. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating medical content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Review and analyze medical documents, research papers, and clinical trial reports for accuracy and completeness
• Evaluate the scientific validity and clinical relevance of medical information
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the quality of medical content
• Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for revisions to authors and researchers
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for medical review processes
• Contribute to the creation of style guides and best practices for medical writing and reviewing
• Assist in training and mentoring junior reviewers as needed

• Medical degree (MD, DO) or advanced degree in a related field (Ph.D., PharmD)
• Previous experience in medical writing, reviewing, or editing
• Strong medical knowledge and proficiency in medical terminology
• Excellent writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Critical thinking and analytical skills to evaluate complex medical information
• Experience in clinical research or healthcare settings
• Familiarity with medical databases and research tools
• Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and data management software
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• In-depth understanding of medical and clinical practices
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the medical field
• Familiarity with medical ethics and patient privacy regulations
• Additional certifications in medical writing or editing (preferred)
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Croatian is a plus
