JOB SUMMARY: The MSW is responsible for providing effective, high quality care to patients of all age group receiving care in the hospital setting. Assess the social, psychological culture, environment and financial situation as well as disposition needs for each referred patient. Collaborate with patient families, healthcare team and communities to develop and implement plans to address identifiable needs.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Master’s Degree in a human services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc…).
2. BLS upon hire and maintain current.
3. Professional Licensure/Certification preferred.
