Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a Medical Surgical RN, you will provide direct patient care and support to patients with a variety of medical conditions. This is a full-time, 13-week contract position with 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care

• Educate patients and their families on disease process, treatments, and self-care techniques

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical setting

• BLS and ACLS certification

• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
