Job Type: Full-time (10 hour shifts)

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Medical Team Lead to join our team and help us deliver outstanding care while supporting our mission to improve community health.

Grand Peaks Medical is seeking a dependable and dedicated Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Team Lead working closely with one of our medical providers. This is a full-time position based at our Idaho Falls clinic and is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and mission-driven team.

Preferred qualifications include at least two years of clinical experience and the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.

Requirements

Schedule:

Full-time position, 10-hour shifts with Saturday rotation.  Located in Idaho Falls.  Candidates must be able to commit to 36 consecutive months of full-time employment. 

Education:

High school diploma OR equivalency required

Current RN or LPN License required

Experience:

Customer service experience (at least one year).

Previous experience as a medical assistant or equivalent (2 years preferred).

Basic Job Duties:

In addition to standard nursing duties the team lead will also do the following:

1. Serve as the point of contact for their assigned provider
2. Full responsibility in ensuring the completion of diagnostic imaging, referrals, telephone encounters, labs, etc. for their assigned provider. 
3. The point of contact for empaneled patients. 
4. The liaison between the provider and other nursing staff.
