The Medications Assistant supports the mission and values of Maple City Health Care Center (MCHCC) by assisting with the medications and vaccines program to help provide affordable, accessible healthcare for MCHCC patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists with medication inventory and stocking at all sites
Assists with dispensing refills and in-house medication orders for patients
Joins huddle to provide updates on medication program
Helps to cover medications team as needed
Other duties that support our shared work, as assigned
Requirements
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to adapt quickly to changes
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Knowledge of basic computer systems
Bilingual: Spanish/English preferred
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience with medications and/or in the medical field required.
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
Ability to perform prolonged or extensive standing and walking
Ability to perform considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
Ability to perform prolonged periods of time in front of a computer
