Medium Duty Mechanic / Lancaster Shop

Duties:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on light to medium-duty vehicles and trucks in shop.

Perform State Inspections and Emissions and follow up repairs on light to medium-duty vehicles and trucks.

Diagnose and repair light to medium-duty vehicles including but not limited to engine, transmission, chassis and electrical.

Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure they are working properly.

Navigate basic computer skills and scan tool equipment.

Work well with others and exhibit good communication skills.

Self-manage assigned tasks and keep workspace clean.

Requirements:

Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment

Pennsylvania Inspection License & Emissions

Have a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties

Minimum of 5 years of experience as mechanic on medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skill/experiences
