Nurse Manager – Med-Surg (Night Shift)
Location: Denton, TX
Schedule: Full-time | Nights
Salary Range: $84,843 – $127,275 (Based on years of experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Available (case by case)

Overview:
A highly awarded and Magnet-recognized hospital in Denton, TX, is seeking an experienced Med-Surg Nurse Manager to lead its team on the night shift. This acute care facility is a Level II Trauma Center and a primary stroke and chest pain center known for delivering exceptional patient outcomes and maintaining a supportive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and evaluate nursing care delivery on assigned med-surg units

• Collaborate with nursing leadership to implement quality improvement initiatives

• Manage staffing, scheduling, and fiscal operations of the unit

• Foster a team culture focused on patient safety, outcomes, and satisfaction

• Support regulatory compliance and coordinate training and competency programs

• Promote professional development and mentor clinical staff

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the State of Texas or Compact State

• BSN required; MSN preferred

• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)

• Minimum 5 years of acute care RN experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent leadership experience in a Med-Surg unit

• Advanced specialty certification (must be obtained within 1 year if not held at hire)
