Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $27.72 – $39.60/hour (based on experience)

• Sign-On Bonus:

  • $10,000 – Day Shift

  • $15,000 – Night Shift

• Night Shift Differential: +$4.00/hour

• Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced acute care environment in Panama City, Florida. This role is ideal for RNs who value teamwork, clinical variety, and consistent patient interaction in a structured inpatient setting. The unit supports a broad adult patient population with opportunities to strengthen core acute care nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing practice and established protocols

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately

• Monitor patient conditions and escalate care as clinically indicated

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes

• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge planning

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

Required

• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license

• Recent acute care RN experience

  • Within the last 3 years, or

  • Within the last 5 years for nurses with extensive overall RN experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and time-management skills

• Ability to perform physical job requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs

Preferred

• Prior Medical-Surgical or inpatient acute care experience

Unit Details

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Typically 6:1 (occasionally 7:1)

• Adult inpatient Medical-Surgical population
