Med/Surg- RN

We have a number of roles open for candidates in the med/surg expertise supporting a number of our departments including but not limited to: oncology, nephrology, specialty surgery, OB GYN, cardiac and ortho.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care.
• Develop, update, and coordinate the patient's plan of care to achieve patient goals and optimize outcomes and transitions across the care continuum.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate, maintaining essential competencies required by specific areas of hire and populations served.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote the autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of those we serve.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team, including students.
• Ensure patient safety, identify and correct problems, and integrate evidence and best practices into nursing care to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in med/surg environments.
• Upon time of hire the ability to obtain an industry-level certification.
