Full Time Plant - Day Shift - Non-Union  

Must be willing to relocate to Tennessee.

Requirements:

• A four-year degree preferred
• A minimum of five years’ experience in scrap processing, melting, casting, rolling, maintenance, finishing
• Shipping / Warehousing operations experience a plus
• MUST HAVE ELECTRIC ARC FURNANCE EPXERIENCE OR LADLE MELT FURNANCE EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:

• Establish a highly productive - safety conscious team in a steel mill melt shop with a focus on safety, environmental production, cost and quality.
• You are responsible for training and performance valuations of employees working on rotating shifts
• Process improvement to include processes, products, and production
• Ensure standardization of processes, auditing performance, documenting findings and development of corrective action
• Lead Failure Analysis team toward problem resolution
• Suggest how to minimize downtime/breakdowns
• Facilitate Operator training
• Support and measure against GBX processes, audits, 5S initiatives, preventive maintenance, safety management Kaizen events
• Support daily routine management activities and day to day work

Six figure salary plus bonus - 8-hour day shift - great benefits and company paid relocation.
