Job Description - Member Experience Specialist I

Position Summary


Serve as a frontline representative of the credit union, delivering high-quality service to ACCU’s members and prospective members, delivering outstanding Member Experience, Lending and Teller services. In office duties include but not limited to opening and maintaining member accounts, loan interviews, processing and closing loans, processing daily financial transactions, and providing accurate information about credit union products, services, and policies. Additional duties include fostering membership growth and managing member accounts. The position requires a demonstrated passion for ACCU and a commitment to upholding our core values: Relationships, Integrity, Community, and Financial Security.



Required Qualifications



  • Strong written and verbal communication.

  • Attention to detail with financial documents.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business or finance preferred

  • Proficient in basic math and computer skills

  • Previous financial industry experience preferred

  • Bilingual skills a plus.



Work Environment



  • This position is office-based, Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings as needed.

  • Employees will spend long periods sitting and using a computer or phone.
