About Bluejay

Bluejay builds the simulation, observability and self-improvement layer for Voice AI agents. Within a year of launch, Google, DoorDash, public healthcare companies, public banks, drive-through chains and enterprises on five continents use it, and it handles millions of calls a month.

Founders Faraz and Rohan built infrastructure for Microsoft Copilot and AWS Bedrock before starting Bluejay. The company raised a $4M seed in 2025 from Floodgate, Peak XV and Y Combinator, has sustained seven-figure revenue since, and is a team of about 10 in Union Square, San Francisco.

The Role

As a Member of Technical Staff you will build systems that simulate, analyze and evaluate conversational AI agents across voice and multimodal, on resilient AWS infrastructure that handles millions of real-time conversations. This is a high-bar, full-ownership role on a tiny team, and it is customer-facing: you will work on-site with customers to build, sell and deploy the product.

What You Will Do

• Architect and develop simulation, analysis and evaluation systems for conversational AI.
• Build resilient, scalable AWS infrastructure (Lambda, EC2, WebSockets, SIP) for real-time conversations.
• Build algorithms and pipelines that surface insights, detect failure modes and keep agents safe and aligned.
• Own your work fully, across the stack.
• Work on-site with customers to deploy the product.

What You Bring

• 1+ years of experience
• Proficiency across the stack, especially databases, AWS and AI engineering
• Obsessive attention to detail and the ability to lead technical execution
• An exceptional signal: a strong bachelor's degree and/or experience at a top fast-growing startup
• Strong, personable communication for customer-facing work
• Ability to work in person in San Francisco 5 days a week
