The team supports the company\u2019s Spend Management and Data \u0026 Digital business units, partnering closely with Sales to develop pricing strategies for both standardized and complex, multi-product proposals. Our team enables strategic growth by ensuring proposals are financially sound, operationally executable, and aligned with Vizient\u2019s value promise to clients.\n\nIn this role, you will combine your analytical acumen with commercial insight to enhance the financial performance of strategic deals. You will develop and analyze customized pricing models for new client proposals, assess revenue and margin impact, and recommend improvements that increase value for both the client and Vizient. You will utilize your expertise in financial modeling, pricing strategy, Sales Operations, Commercial Finance, or Deal Desk initiatives.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Build and evaluate detailed pricing and financial models for client proposals, supporting strategic decision-making across sales, finance, and leadership stakeholders.\n\n * Provide actionable recommendations that enhance deal structure and profitability while aligning with client needs and expectations.\n\n * Track and analyze post-deal performance to assess accuracy of models and inform future pricing strategies.\n\n * Translate financial insights into clear summaries for use in forecasting, margin analysis, and gain/loss reporting.\n\n * Partner with Sales, Client Management, Contracting, Accounting, and Finance to ensure operational alignment on deal execution.\n\n * Support proposal prioritization and service level adherence across the Pricing \u0026 Deal Modeling team.\n\n * Contribute to daily team check-ins and continuous improvement efforts, helping elevate the team\u2019s modeling quality and responsiveness.\n\n\n\n\nQualifications:\n\n * Relevant degree preferred Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred.\n\n * 5 or more years of experience in Pricing, Sales Operations, Commercial Finance, or a similar function required.\n\n * Advanced Excel and spreadsheet modeling skills; experience with activity-based costing strongly preferred.\n\n * Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce), BI dashboards (Power BI), planning systems (Workday Adaptive Planning) and Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.\n\n * Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.\n\n * Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail and a focus on outcomes.\n\n * Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple high-stakes proposals simultaneously.\n\n * The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid environment (3 days a week) at our corporate office located in Irving, TX.\n\n\n\n\nEstimated Hiring Range:\n\nAt Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances.
