O Bee Credit Union is hiring a Member Services Representative I/II to join our amazing team at our Tumwater Branch. This is a full-time role that plays a vital part in supporting our mission, our Members, and our one-of-a-kind company culture.

What You’ll Do

As our Member Services Representative, you’ll provide basic financial services to members including teller, loan services, and business development. Working towards and assisting in the positive image and growth of the credit union by providing world class member service as defined by net promoter scores.

Responsibilities

• Member Service Standards

Drive best level member service by engaging in conversations with our members and developing relationships with them. Answer and ask financially driven questions to support the growth of our member’s financial wellbeing. Knowledgeable in O Bee products and services. Be able to identify the needs of members from general interactions. Processing pay and receive transactions to include checking and savings, transfers of shares to loan payments, share withdrawals, check requests, CD transactions, line of credit advances, and wires.

• Problem Solving

Supports members’ requests regarding account balances, transaction history, credits and debits and escalations. Resolves concerns and/or put them in direct contact to the appropriate staff member for specific information and assistance.

• Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering

Follows BSA and all Credit Union operational procedures. Completes required Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and notifies Senior Management of any suspicious activities; providing information needed to complete Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).

What Desired Qualifications You’ll Bring

• At least 1 year of high paced high quality member service experience
• At least 1 year of cash handling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Skills That Shine

• Ability to communicate verbally.
• Ability to communicate in writing.
• Ability to operate a 10-key calculator.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include Saturday at some branches.
• Knowledge of basic computer software products.

This position is open for either a Member Service Representative I or a Member Service Representative II. Level selection will be based on experience.

The Details

• Location: Tumwater Branch, Tumwater, WA
• Pay range: MSR I is $16.66 to $24.40 per hour and the range for an MSR II is $18.65 to $27.97 per hour. The range is dependent on the level of position and prior experience.
