KIAMICHI ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

1. OBJECTIVES

     To insure that the Cooperative will be the member/owner's electric power supplier of choice by rendering dedicated               service to the Cooperative on a daily basis by specifically:

                  A. Providing maximum effort in serving the membership by meeting the needs of

                  the member/owners in a courteous, prompt and efficient manner.

                  B. Cooperating with and supporting fellow employees in accomplishing the                                

                  objectives of the Cooperative with a spirit of teamwork and unity of purpose.

                  C. Representing the Cooperative in a manner that will maintain a favorable image                  

                  of the Cooperative membership and general public.

II. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

                  A. Reports To: Manager of Member Services or CFO.

                  B. Directs:  None

III.  RELATIONSHIPS

                  A. Internal:

                      1. Manager of Member Services: To assist and inform as necessary on all

                      matters pertaining to general clerical happenings, events, and occurrences. 

                      2. Other Cooperative Personnel:  Maintain rapport with all departments in providing and securing information                            relating to customer accounts.

                 B. External:

                      1. Member/Owners: Explains Cooperative policies, procedures, services offered, rate schedules.  To provide                             information and advice to members as they may request and does everything possible to maintain good                                   relations in all contacts with members and the general public. 

IV. QUALIFICATIONS

                 A. Education & Training: High School diploma or equivalent required.  Training         

                 in typing, general office and computers required. Bachelor’s degree in  

                 business related field preferred.

                 B. Abilities & Skills: Must possess the ability to use general office machines and                   

                 computer; follow basic directions in the performance of regular office                                      

                 activities, must be willing to accept assignments from the Executive Vice                          

                 President/CEO, Customer Service Supervisor, and other management which                     

                 may be given from time to time; deal with member/owners and other                                 

                 employees in a capable manner.

V. CLASSIFICATONS

                A. This position is classified as in inside position and requires working at the KEC

                Headquarters office.
