Job Description - Member Services Coordinator - Unlimited Growth Potential

How will this role have an impact?

The Member Services Coordinator provides prompt attention and follow-up to members regarding their experience with Signify Health. The Coordinator creates internal cases to appropriately investigate member feedback, and document accurate findings for future follow-up by Signify Health and/or health plans. Works diligently to meet department goals. The Coordinator also takes a high volume of incoming calls. The Signify Health Member Services department operates 7 days a week / 11 hours per day. Shifts may include both weekend days (Saturday/ Sunday) and traditional weekdays (Monday- Friday).

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer and follow up on all member inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Provide great customer service both verbally and written
  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls
  • Work in multiple systems at the same time
  • Be on time, ready to work at the assigned work location on a daily basis
  • Manage time effectively
  • Respond well to coaching and supervision
  • Actively demonstrate teamwork at all times
  • Ability to work overtime

Additional Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in staff meetings, conference calls, and other meetings as needed
  • Complete reports as requested by Supervisor
  • Assist/coach/coordinate with other team members
  • Attend training sessions to acquire/enhance skills related to programs offered
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Licensing Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years successful work experience in a related field
  • Prior experience in a fast paced customer service environment
  • Prior experience working in call center or inbound calls environment

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Speak, read, and write English fluently
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Advanced skills in Google Suites
  • Accurate data entry skills

  • Work effectively with frequent interruptions
  • May require occasional overtime to meet deadlines

The base salary hiring range for this position is $16.50 to $28.00. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
