Member Services Representative - Full-Time, Seasonal

Description

Saco Valley Credit Union, a 2024 Best Place to Work in ME, seeks to add a new team member to our Member Services team in a seasonal capacity. This Full-Time Member Services Representative will float between our two Saco branches and one Waterboro branch locations to assist in day-to-day branch operations. This position is a full-time hourly position. Additionally, this is a seasonal position with the expectations that the selected candidate would work summers and selected other weeks throughout the year. This is an ideal opportunity for college students and those in post secondary education, among others. 

The ideal candidate for this position will exercise good judgment in various situations, use superb communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and balance multiple competing priorities. This position develops and maintains relationships with our members and requires professionalism, flexibility, initiative, and great teamwork.

Requirements

• Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products and services.
• Ensure daily work balances at the end of each day and resolve any balancing issues.
• Ability and willingness to offer products and services for exceptional member service.
• Strong communication skills and computer knowledge with the ability to multi-task.
• Assist members who are looking to apply for Consumer and Real Estate loans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must have a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
• Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Some Saturday morning hours are required.
• Pay commensurate with experience.
