Job Description:

Location: 10999 Narcoossee Road, Orlando, FL 32832

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm. May vary to accommodate the night shift

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a consultant and educator on psycho-social aspects of mental health relevant to healthcare workers

  • Provide brief supportive clinical interventions and resource navigation during mental health rounding

  • Deliver immediate crisis intervention during or after critical incidents

  • Lead or participate in Whole Person Care Conferences and moral injury debriefings

  • Facilitate live and virtual group sessions for team member support

  • Ensure safety for individuals presenting at risk of harm to self or others

  • Provide grief support to team members and leaders

  • Maintain community resource networks and collaborate with leadership regarding psycho-social factors affecting employment and well-being

  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in required trainings and meetings

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Confidentiality – Maintain strict confidentiality to ensure client trust, follow all system policies related to confidentiality and disclosure, Monitor and maintain HIPPA regulations for self and others. [Required]
• Critical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. [Required]
• Communication – Utilize the written and spoken word to advance understanding and convey appropriate messaging. [Required]
• Diversity Sensitivity – Be culturally sensitive to diverse populations and needs. Communicate appropriately to provide a psychologically safe environment of inclusion and belonging. [Required]

• Professional Knowledge – Working knowledge of best practices in mental health, clinical methodology, adult learning, and community and treatment resources based on age and clinical need. [Required]
• Professional Skill – Ability to provide solution-focued theory, cognitive behavioral theory and systems theory. Proven track record in positive client outcomes. [Required]
• Regulatory Compliance – Know of applicable regulatory requirements and state and federal laws as they pertain to Patient Safety Organizations, Peer Review, Risk Management and staff compliance and reporting. [Required]
• Service Orientation – Actively looking for ways to serve consumers, living out the organizational service standard to make processes and interactions easy for the end user. [Required]
• Stress Management – The ability to positively respond to stressful situations, utilizing techniques to manage self and others. Effectively respond to and interact in a fast-paced environment. [Required]
• Time Management – Efficient and effective use of one’s own time. [Required]

Education:
• Master's [Required]

Field of Study:
• in Counseling or Social Work

Work Experience:
• 2+ experience in clinical mental health counseling or social work [Required]
• Experience in acute care hospital [Preferred]
• Experience in providing clinical coaching and support [Preferred]
• Experience working with substance use and mental health disorders [Preferred]

• Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) [Required] OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) [Required] OR Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) [Required]
