Contract Length: 13 weeks (with possibility to extend)
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Weekly Gross: $2,875

Job Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Coordinator for a full-time contract assignment in a correctional setting in California City, CA. This role focuses on delivering non-medical clinical mental health services to an incarcerated population. Candidates must be comfortable working in secure environments and have open availability to meet scheduling needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct mental health screenings and clinical assessments through interviews and records review
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Provide mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in healthcare records
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and interventions
• Deliver appropriate treatment and support to inmates in crisis or with significant mental health needs

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field
• Active, unrestricted LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in California
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a comparable position
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• U.S. Citizenship required for ICE clearance (expedited process available)
• Must complete ICE Clearance Screening Form at submission
• Must reside 70+ miles from the facility
• Must be available to start within 2 weeks
• Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays
• No RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed during the contract period

Preferred:

• Experience in correctional or forensic mental health settings
• Valid driver's license (preferred unless otherwise required)
• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred)
