Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts weekly

• One position: Sunday-Thursday
• One position: Tuesday-Saturday

Contract Length: 13 weeks (with possibility to extend)
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Weekly Gross: $2,810

Job Overview:
We are seeking licensed Mental Health Coordinators (MHCs) for full-time contract assignments in a correctional facility in Milan, NM. The MHC provides clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature to an incarcerated population. Candidates must be confident in secure settings and meet federal clearance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical interviews and assessments based on available records
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans
• Provide mental health counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention
• Document all services and interventions in patient records
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional standards
• Utilize appropriate psychological theories and techniques in care delivery

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
• Active, unrestricted LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in NM
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in a comparable role
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with valid Social Security card for clearance
• Must reside 70+ miles away from the facility
• Must be able to start within 2 weeks
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid drivers license preferred
• Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays
• No RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed during assignment

Preferred:

• Experience in correctional or forensic mental health settings
• Active AHA BLS certification
