MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL

The Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing clinical leadership, guidance, and consultation as a team member in regard to psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic programming. This includes clinical consultation, and individual, group, and family therapy as well as other forms of intervention as directed. This responsibility also includes assisting in evaluations and training of direct care staff, program marketing, quality assurance, and continuity of care within other Community Programs or other KidsPeace Departments.
*Competencies:*
Masters's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
Minimum two years experience in Human Services required.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients and other professionals as necessary. In addition, the worker must have expertise to effectively flex into various duties within the Program or Department as necessary and when indicated.
Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
Must pass a Criminal History Record Clearance & a Child Abuse History Clearance which are processed by KidsPeace as well as possess a valid driver's license.
Must pass a Physical & Drug screening & possess the ability to attend & successfully complete all KidsPeace sponsored training. EOE
