Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct clinical mental health assessments and screenings for incarcerated individuals
Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans
Provide mental health treatment, crisis intervention, and therapy
Maintain detailed documentation in healthcare records
Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld
Collaborate with correctional and healthcare staff to deliver care
Job Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
Current licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in California – Required
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
Must be at least 21 years old
U.S. work authorization – no visa sponsorship available
Preferred:
Experience in correctional, institutional, or trauma-informed care settings – preferred
Familiarity with EMR systems and behavioral health documentation – preferred
