Since 1905, The Bradley Center has continually served children and families in need. Today, the residential treatment facility provides 24 hour care and trauma-informed treatment to children who have a history of trauma and who may present with a wide range of challenges.
Therapists at Bradley receive training in evidence-based interventions, carry a small caseload, develop treatment plans with the clients and families, and participate in both team and individual supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for a new therapist to gain valuable experience and launch a career. We also offer the opportunity to receive the supervision necessary for licensure.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individual and family therapy
Provide treatment education and guidance including the development of individualized treatment plans
Adhere to treatment plan objectives
Attend monthly treatment planning meetings
Communicate with family and external partners
Documentation/behavioral data tracking
Qualities best suited for the position:
Initiative
Ability to build rapport with clients
Patience and creativity while working with residents at their own pace
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional demeanor, sound judgment, dependability, and a strong work ethic
Requirements
Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, art or music therapy or other related field required
Minimum of one year experience working with youth is a human services or psychiatric setting preferred
Valid driver's license and car insurance
Must be at least 21 years of age
