Mental Health Therapist Adolescent Treatment (AMFT, ACSW, APCC)

We are currently hiring a Mental Health Therapist for our 6-bed residential treatment center in Tarzana, CA, working with teens ages 12–17 struggling with mental health and substance use disorders.

Evolve provides cutting-edge residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment programs for teens. Our clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based practices such as:

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

• Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as primary therapist for assigned clients and families throughout treatment.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions on a weekly basis.

• Facilitate 1–2 therapy groups per week and document clinical notes accordingly.

• Complete Biopsychosocial Assessments, Risk Assessments, and develop comprehensive Treatment Plans.

• Participate in the on-call rotation, offering phone support and managing after-hours clinical needs.

• Collaborate with the Utilization Review team to secure ongoing insurance authorization.

• Support clients through discharge planning, including home contracts and after-care referrals.

• Attend weekly Treatment Team and Psychiatry meetings, contributing clinical updates and insight.

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required documentation in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.

• Integrate Outcomes Program data into diagnosis and treatment planning.

What You’ll Need:

• Active California registration as AMFT, ACSW, or APCC (Licensed applicants LMFT/LCSW/LPCC also welcome)

• Ability to pass LiveScan, federal/state background checks, and child abuse index clearances

• Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
• Valid Ca driver's license as you may be asked to assist at our other locations.
