Location: Minnesota Ketamine & Wellness Institute, Maple Grove, MN
About Us: The Minnesota Ketamine & Wellness Institute is dedicated to providing innovative, compassionate, and evidence-based care to clients seeking relief from treatment-resistant mental health conditions. Our multidisciplinary team specializes in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP/KAT), combining cutting-edge interventions with holistic support to foster healing and growth.
Position Overview: We are seeking a Master's-prepared Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. This role is perfect for a therapist who’s interested in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy with an expertise in addressing diverse patient needs, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and suicidal ideation. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician with a partial client load to expand their practice into ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Candidates who are already credentialed in KAP/KAT or are willing to pursue training are encouraged to apply. We’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, client-centered psychotherapy services to individuals engaging in KAP/KAT or traditional therapy.
Collaborate with the clinical team to integrate ketamine treatments into clients’ therapeutic journeys.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
Build and maintain a collaborative, therapeutic relationship with clients.
Participate in ongoing professional development related to KAP/KAT and other therapeutic modalities.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a mental health field (e.g., Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, or Counseling).
Licensure in the state of Minnesota (LMFT, LICSW, LPCC, or equivalent).
Experience working with clients managing trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions.
Credentialed in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP/KAT) or willingness to obtain certification within six months of hire.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to a trauma-informed, holistic, and client-centered approach to care.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with or knowledge of psychedelic-assisted therapies.
Interest in integrative and innovative approaches to mental health care.
Knowledge in holistic practices which may include mindfulness techniques, lifestyle interventions, and mind-body therapies. Training in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Reiki therapy would be a welcome addition!
What We Offer:
A supportive, collegial work environment with access to training opportunities in KAP/KAT.
Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.
A collaborative team dedicated to professional growth and client care.
Compensation: This is an independent contractor position with competitive compensation based on individual performance and client load.
