Mental Health Therapist - Specialist in DBT, ERP, or EMDR

Chrysalis Psychiatry is a growing outpatient mental health practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We believe very strongly in the importance of having a safe place to heal from emotional trauma, and in providing high quality, evidence-based treatment. We offer a variety of mental health services including medication management and interventional treatments for PTSD, depression, and other mental illnesses.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is a specialist in DBT,  ERP or EMDR to join our team in New Mexico. This is an in-office position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide individual and family therapy to adults and adolescents with various mental health concerns

· Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans that are tailored to each client's unique needs

· Maintain accurate and timely client records and progress notes

· Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed

· Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities

Qualifications:

· Master’s degree or PhD in Psychology, Clinical Counseling, Social Work, or related field

· License eligible in the state of New Mexico

· At least three years previous counseling experience required with at least 1 year focusing on DBT, ERP, or EMDR

· Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, as well as psychology, therapy and counseling approaches

· Strong analytical skills to assess a patient’s situation and build treatment plans

· Excellent listening skills to best understand a patient’s issues and concerns

· Excellent communication skills to effectively guide patients and establish trust

· Crisis intervention skills to respond to patients in acute distress

· All new patient visits conducted in person, but we offer a mixture of in-person and telemedicine for follow-up visits based on patient needs

Compensation & Benefits:

• $75,000 - $80,000 base salary plus bonus
