MEP Field Service Supervisor

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Field Service Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations and on-site activities related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role involves supervising field teams, coordinating with commercial clients, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining project timelines and budgets.

• Supervise and coordinate MEP field service technicians and commercial cleints on active project sites/service calls.
   
• Ensure all installations, maintenance, and repairs are executed to code, design specifications, and safety standards.
   
• Manage project schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines and project milestones.
   
• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks of ongoing MEP works.
   
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex MEP system issues on-site. Our MEP Field Service Supervisor will be hands on-working in the field primarly in the HVAC and Refrigeration Service/Repair and Installations.
   
• Serve as the main point of contact between the field service technicians and commercial clients.
   
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily logs, inspection reports, and equipment records.
   
• Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
   
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians and apprentices.
   
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field; trade certification may also be considered with relevant experience.  EPA Universal License.  HVAC and Refrigeration background.  
   
• Minimum 5+ years of field experience in MEP systems with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
   
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing.
   
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and best practices (e.g., NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA).
   
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
   
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
   
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
   
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
