Job Description - Mercedes-Benz Pre-Owned Manager



Mercedes-Benz of North Haven  is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Pre Owned Sales Manager to lead our Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre Owned department. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment,  is competitive and passionate about delivering a world-class customer experience.

Responsibilities




  • Oversee all aspects of the Pre Owned vehicle department, including pricing, merchandising, and sales performance.




  • Desk deals daily and work directly with clients to ensure transparency, efficiency, and customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.




  • Train, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve volume and gross profit objectives.




  • Manage appraisals and trades with accuracy and transparency.




  • Monitor market trends and ensure competitive vehicle pricing and advertising.




  • Maintain high CSI scores by ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.




  • Work collaboratively with the New Car, Finance, and Service Departments to maximize profitability.




  • Ensure compliance with all manufacturer and dealership standards and programs.




 


Qualifications




  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in an automotive dealership (Mercedes-Benz or luxury brand experience preferred).




  • Proven track record of success in pre-owned sales management and desking deals.




  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills.




  • Proficiency with CRM, inventory management, and DMS systems.




  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
