• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Service Technician or related automotive repair experience.

The Sprinter Certified Technician is a skilled professional responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing all types of automotive problems. You'll be the heart of the service department, using your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure commercial vans are running smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
• Perform thorough inspections across all major vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, etc.).
• Communicate clearly with customers about needed repairs, costs, and timelines.
• Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and a clean, safe work environment.
• Stay current with automotive technology, tools, and best practices through ongoing training.
• Support a collaborative and customer-focused shop culture.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Service Technician or related automotive repair experience.
• Completion of an automotive technician training program or equivalent experience.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, reaching).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
