Merchandiser

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our products are attractively displayed and fully stocked in all assigned accounts. Your focus will be on maintaining product availability and presentation.

The schedule for this route is Tuesday - Saturday.

This route primarily services Enid and surrounding areas. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintains in working order all assigned company equipment and vehicles.
• Projects a positive image to all retailers, coworkers, and consumers, which is consistent with company expectations.
• Proven ability to build relationships with current retailers as well as form new partnerships with potential customers.
• Is reliable and feels the accountability of the work they perform as a vital contributor to the team.
• Ensures product is thoroughly stocked and rotated in all designated coolers, maintains existing displays, and assists in building new displays.
• Creatively builds displays which are shop-able, priced correctly, and gains the interest of consumers.
• Rotates and merchandises inventory in all retail accounts to ensure the products sold remain in stock until the next delivery date.
• Merchandises product to ensure adherence to The Company FIFO procedure (First In First Out)
• Communicates potential out-of-stock situations to the team and maximizes sales every day.
• Understands that a flexible work schedule may be required for this position.
• Attends all required company meetings.
• Maintains an overall “look of the leader” appearance in the designated territory.
• Abides by all Company requirements and policies written in the Associate Handbook and adheres to all state and federal regulations and standards.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a Valid Driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize sales applications within ERP software (i.e. Encompass).
• 1+ year of customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience

Physical Requirements: Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs., climb, reach and perform various physical maneuvers to perform the essential functions of the job.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:?Must hold a current, valid driver’s license that meets the insurance carrier’s guidelines for an acceptable, insured driver.

Working Conditions: The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold while merchandising and rotating products in coolers.
