Merchandising Associate (Movies/TV) - San Jose, CA

Responsibilities:
Oversee weekly content refreshes, such as producing and launching weekly banners and collections
Maintain operational calendars and publish content
Operationally support data analysis by collating relevant metrics and creating reports
Optimize based on analytics
Write and/or edit copy for collections and editorial content in English
Localize relevant global campaigns and help create local seasonal campaigns
Research new and trending movies & TV shows for placement in banners and collections
React to breaking news, live events and real-time pop culture moments to push relevant content quickly to live TV
Work collaboratively within a cross-functional and international team environment
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree required
Native fluency in English with strong verbal & written communication skills and the ability to write/edit copy
Detail-oriented with excellent project management and analytical skills
Familiar with content management systems
Strong written & verbal English language skills
Strong communication skills and collaborative working approach
Passion for media & entertainment and an understanding of that business landscape
? Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Familiarity with matrix management structures

Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working in Tech / start-up space / media company
Previous experience in merchandising, digital production, editorial copywriting, content creation, marketing, digital, retail and/or content businesses
Experience with FAST channel programming and/or production is highly desirable
Background in news and/or journalism is highly desirable
Written language fluency in a second language is highly desirable
Schedule Requirements:
Monday to Friday, standard business schedule (flexible schedule within business hours)

$66k annual salary . The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
