Mann Eye Institute is looking for an experienced Frames Inventory Manager to oversee our frame inventory operations across all Optical locations.

About the Role:

As the Frames Inventory Manager, you’ll lead the team responsible for frame procurement, tracking, receiving, and distribution to both our optical retail locations and lab partners. You'll ensure that our inventory levels are optimized, physically accurate, and financially reconciled — supporting our mission to deliver exceptional eye care and eyewear experiences.

This is a dynamic, hands-on leadership role that blends inventory logistics, system integration, vendor management, and financial reporting. If you love working with data, solving problems, and mentoring a high-performing team, we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Operations

• Supervise and direct the Frame Inventory team.
• Oversee all frame merchandising processes, including special orders and vendor returns.
• Maintain accurate BAC (Buyer’s Actual Cost) spreadsheets by vendor and brand.
• Coordinate timely distribution of frames across retail locations.
• Process and manage purchase orders, vendor invoices, and shipments.

Inventory Management

• Ensure optimal frame inventory levels to support sales and clinical needs.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage returns and defective products, ensuring timely credit reconciliation.

Financial Reporting & Systems Integration

• Collaborate with Accounting for monthly and annual inventory reporting.
• Reconcile physical counts with financial records.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based inventory tools and dashboards.
• Integrate data across the POS, inventory, and accounting systems.

Requirements

 What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years experience in inventory management, ideally in a multi-unit setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, reporting).
• Experience with Point of Sale, inventory, and accounting systems.
• Highly organized and detail-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with barcode/RFID technology is a plus.

Education & Physical Requirements:

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and scanning inventory.
• Must be comfortable traveling occasionally to other Mann Eye locations.
