About the role:

The role shall provide project management, leadership, cost and schedule control for ERP conversions from acquired systems to ALS standard ERP. The business process functional scope covers both Finance and Supply Chain.

In this role, the Project Manager will provide the necessary leadership and project management for the migration of finance and supply chain functions from acquired solutions to ALS standard solutions. She/he will oversee all aspects of migrating an acquired business from existing finance and supply chain solutions to ALS standard solutions. This requires strong leadership of both internal staff and potentially external resources, and close engagement with the steering committee and business stream and functional leaders.

The immediate priority of this role is to manage the migration of 5 acquired businesses in the United States from current ERP solutions to Oracle Fusion Cloud. Scope includes Financials and Supply Chain.

Manage and resolve complex business issues arising from the migration away from existing solutions to ALS solutions, escalate decisions as appropriate to IT and Business Leadership as needed

Works as part of the IT PMO team. Accountable to the Global IT PMO Director, and the M&A integration steering committee as it relates to budgets, timelines, and progress.

Oversee ERP conversion planning and rollout: Work with the M&A integration team, global ERP support team, IT, Business Leadership to create a comprehensive ERP conversion plan. Oversee effective change management for the ERP conversion.

Provide ERP Conversion Change Management Oversight: Ensure change management is being effectively planned and managed and that stakeholder engagement, communication, and all levels of required training is being effectively executed. Ensure that change management is fully integrated into ERP conversion planning and go live plan.

Responsibilities

About you:

Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak to technical-level staff and develop written reporting and presentational content

Ability to lead and direct ERP conversion team members in line with the goals of the ERP program. Encourages and facilitates cooperation, results orientation, and collaboration amongst the team

Demonstrated ability to work in a decentralized, matrix environment, particularly in cross-functional teams across multiple lines of business, over whom there may be no direct authority

Experience using project management software tools to effectively lead, manage, monitor and control project activities

Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated track record of applying program management principles, practices, and techniques with a strong results

Takes calculated risks to achieve desired

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in project management associated with ERP/business systems conversion or related projects. Experience with Oracle ERP Financials and Supply Chain is strongly preferred.

Three to five years’ experience managing midsize to large teams and influencing management and key stakeholders

.

Experience with master data management and data conversion approaches

Experience managing teams in multiple countries

Excellent project management skills, including ability to effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.

Strong business acumen in managing projects, costs, developing business cases, and delivering cost effective

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or experience commiserate.

Project and/or program management certification and/or lean process improvement (i.e., Six Sigma) certification strongly preferred

Physical Demands:

Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with staff, management, and clients.

Able to sit and /or stand for 100% of an 8 hour day.

Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate computer and other equipment.

Must have average vision and able to see to read reports and operate equipment.
