We are seeking a highly qualified MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Data Consultant to join our growing team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing MES data solutions, ensuring seamless data integration between manufacturing systems and enterprise information systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in MES technologies, manufacturing data management, and consulting within complex production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of MES data solutions tailored to specific manufacturing processes and business requirements.
Analyze, map, and optimize data flows between MES platforms and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, LIMS, SCADA).
Collaborate with clients to gather business, functional, and technical requirements, translating them into effective MES data strategies.
Develop and execute data integration, migration, and validation plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve MES data issues, ensuring data integrity, reliability, and compliance.
Conduct user training and provide ongoing technical support to client teams.
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in MES technologies, manufacturing data analytics, and digital transformation.
Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience (3+ years) in MES data consulting, integration, or solution development within manufacturing environments.
Proficiency with MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, AVEVA/Wonderware, or similar systems.
Strong knowledge of data integration tools and protocols (e.g., OPC, SQL, REST APIs).
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, GMP, and data compliance standards (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities; ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
U.S. residency is required; applications from outside the United States will not be considered.
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual Salary Range: $105,000 – $135,000, dependent upon experience, education, and location within the U.S.
