MES (Manufacturing Execution System) ADMINISTRATOR

MES ADMINISTRATOR: Execute and complete projects for the MES system as directed and ensure completion of projects are to the full scope of the project and completed within the assigned timeline. 

INTRODUCTION: This position reports to Inventory Operations Manager. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to:

a) Project management and implementation of projects for the MES system as assigned by manager. 

b) Ensures projects are executed on time, within budget, and meet established goals.

c) Work alongside all departments throughout the facility to implement projects.

d) Support Engineering in all documentation updates involving any MES system updates and changes. 

e) Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

REQUIREMENTS: 

a) Associate’s degree preferred in related field or equivalent work experience. 

b) High level of attention to detail with high accuracy in work. 

c) Ability to work independently.

d) Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

a) Work is generally performed in a production plant 20% of time and 80 % in an office setting.

b) While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift or move objects of 25 pounds or less with or without assistance.
