Essential Functions:

• Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks, preferably in the architectural design and manufacturing industry (experience preferred but not required).
• Examine part takeoffs and ensure accurate delivery of stair components to job sites. 
• Assess job site conditions and report any unusual situations to the Installation Manager. 
• Identify and report any shortages of parts to the Installation Manager. 
• Maintain close communication with the Installation Manager regarding job progress and scheduling. 
• Ensure job site cleanliness and organization to promote safety for installers and other individuals on-site. 

Requirements

• Work with various materials, including wood, metal, glass, and cable. 
• Apply solid math skills, including basic geometry, to ensure precision in fabrication and installation. 
• Demonstrate initiative and contribute to establishing best practices for the department. 

Qualifications:

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Previous Welding Experience required
• Travel throughout the Coastal Carolina region required
