Pay Rate: $16–$18/hour (Depending on Experience)
Shift Differential: 11.5% on all hours worked
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dependable Fabrication Operator to join our team at a climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Tulsa. In this role, you will be responsible for handling components used in sheet metal product fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment operation and a commitment to quality and safety.

Essential Functions

• Operate saws and drills to mill, tap, sand, cut, deburr, and grind sheet metal parts coming off the laser operator’s table
• Prepare components for the next stage of production by performing accurate and clean finishing work

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fabrication environment
• Proficient with industrial saws and machinery
• Skilled in the use of hand grinders, belt sanders, and measuring tape
• Comfortable working with industrial equipment and hand/power tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Basic math skills for quick, accurate measurements and adjustments
• Must be self-sufficient, team-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This is a safety-sensitive position due to the nature of equipment and materials used. Responsibilities include:
• Handling, storing, or transporting hazardous materials
• Operating industrial equipment and power tools
• Monitoring and maintaining critical equipment where malfunctions could result in injury or property damage
• Working in environments with potentially flammable or combustible materials

Additional physical expectations include:
• Standing, bending, squatting, and climbing for 95% of the shift
• Lifting and transporting parts weighing up to 50 lbs across short distances (10–15 feet)
• Operating in confined spaces with limited access to material handling devices
• Repetitive tasks and physical movement to support a fast-paced production schedule
