Job Description

As a Metal Plating Line Operator, you'll be responsible for following detailed work instructions outlined in Work Travelers for each part being processed. A thorough understanding of our plating processes is essential to ensure tasks are completed safely and accurately.

Your ability to consistently meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards is crucial to achieving our company's objectives.

Requirements

Job & Quality Requirements

• Plate steel or aluminum part(s).
• Operate overhead crane.
• Visually inspect part and racking technique prior to processing.
• Set controls to maintain specified temperature of bath.
• Determine length of time part remains in bath to reach desired plating thickness.
• Perform in process inspections.
• Complete final inspection after processing.
• Document findings and processing record on Work Traveler.
• Ensure work gets done safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to read and understand English
• Ability to operate overhead crane
• Lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to use micrometer
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to train and learn new tasks
• Plating Experience a Plus.
• Due to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) all employees are required to be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. Upon offer of employment, applicants will be required to present documentation for ITAR and it will be run through E-Verify.
