Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Polisher to deburr, grind, and polish sheet metal and castings in a manufacturing environment. This Metal Polisher role focuses on producing smooth surfaces to specified finish requirements while maintaining high quality standards. Job Responsibilities

The Metal Polisher role includes the following duties:

• Deburr, grind, and polish sheet metal and metal castings
• Use hand and power wheels/belts to polish brass, bronze, aluminum, gold, and silver
• Read and interpret job travelers, blueprints, and drawings to determine finish requirements
• Identify and correct defects to produce a smooth surface
• Report defects to supervisor
• Proper setup and operation of standard manufacturing equipment
• Maintain high attention to detail and focus on the task
• Comply with company standards and procedures for quality
• Complete assigned work within timeframe and specifications

Physical Requirements

• Use proper lifting techniques and lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform physical job functions including standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and manual dexterity
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations
