Purpose

We are seeking a friendly, creative, and determined team player to join our team as a Sales Merchandiser.  You will help us to continue our tradition of offering fun plush toys throughout various territories.  You will help to sell and carefully display favorite characters from Star Wars, Stitch, Spider-Man, Bluey, Paw Patrol, Batman, Harry Potter, Beanie Babies, and many others that collectors and kids of all ages love-love, love!

Job Functions

• Meets with store management or decision maker upon arrival to all stores
• Places orders for product for store to ensure displays meet company merchandising standards
• Maintains back stock and stocks product on shelves
• Visually merchandise and ensure all product is on correctly priced display facing forward and sitting upright
• Submits pictures taken and brief overview of account visits in all assigned locations
• Suggests new concepts to buyers when introduced by company
• Builds, repairs, and maintains displays
• Develops strong relationships with store personnel and provides exceptional customer service
• Communicates with manager & staff
• Visits all locations assigned in a 30-day cycle
• Accepts account & territory changes as assigned per needs of the business
• Uses iPad to complete submission of orders and visit logs through company app/website
• Has access to wifi to utilize iPad to regularly complete mileage expense reports, emails, & other admin duties
• Uses Microsoft Outlook to communicate with office staff and customers in a professional manner

• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Physical Requirements

• Regularly travels 100% of the time
• Regularly communicates verbally, in writing, and via computer
• Regularly lifts and/or carries objects weighing up to 10 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs., and occasionally more than 25 lbs
• Regularly uses an iPad and smart phone
• Regularly stoops and bends, reaches and grasps objects
• Occasionally sits for extended periods of time
• Regularly walks and/or stands for extended periods of time
• Regularly checks company email & responds to communications in a timely manner

Educational/Training and Other Requirements

• Provides own dependable & reliable vehicle in regions where public transportation is not conducive to meet acceptable account base coverage
• Where own vehicle is required, has valid driver’s license, and state mandated auto insurance
• Must provide own Smart Phone with ample Internet access
• High school diploma or G.E.D
• Experience in sales or merchandising related field preferred
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Web Browser, and iPad
