In this role, you will prepare lamellae using Thermo Fisher Helios DualBeam FIB tools for imaging with either an in-situ STEM detector or for TEM sample preparation.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment.\n * Ensure proper handling of sensitive customer samples and intellectual property.\n * Work with process engineers to understand how to locate regions of interest, optimize sample processing, interpret data, and troubleshoot when data does not meet expectations.\n * Maintain the integrity of experiments and data to provide valid results.\n * Actively participate in developing new techniques to expedite sample processing.\n * Provide new learnings and developments to other team members through documentation, presentations, and training sessions.\n * Work with process engineers to create and maintain a healthy, inclusive, and collaborative working environment.\n * Adhere to Lam\u2019s core values while maintaining a professional atmosphere and fostering positive working relationships.\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with a minimum of 4+ years of related experience; or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.\n * Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with a large internal customer base. \n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * 2+ years of relevant industry experience.\n * 2+ years of focused experience in dual beam FIB, SEM operation, and TEM sample preparation.\n * Experience creating technical documentation.\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n\n#LI-CG1\n\nSalary\n\nCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $27.88 - $53.85.\n\nThe above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
