This is a junior/mid-level position and will be working in a safe environment with professional personnel. It's a great position for an individual who works well independently and with others at all levels of professions, and room for advancement.

🌟 What You'll Do
- Log incoming samples into our LIMS (Promium Element) and ship samples to subcontractors via FedEx/UPS
- Prepare and analyze environmental samples, following EPA methods such as 200.7, 6010, 7470, and others
- Review analytical data and help generate accurate, timely reports for supervisor review
- Prepare lab standards, reagents, and maintain inventory of essential supplies
- Support our off-site labs in Virginia and California and serve clients throughout Bremerton, Everett, and Seattle
- Clean, organize, and maintain lab space while upholding excellent documentation and safety practices
- Perform additional lab duties as needed—you’re a key part of the team!
🎓 What You Bring
- Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
- 24+ semester hours of college-level chemistry coursework (preferred)
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Familiarity with Chain of Custody documentation and EPA environmental testing methods
- Understanding of accredited environmental lab procedures
- 1+ year of experience with inorganic chemistry, sample prep, and lab instrumentation (ICP, IC, Hg CVAA)
- Proficiency with MS Office, LIMS systems, and computer-based scheduling tools
- Comfort with standard lab tools: pH meters, balances, pipettes, DI water systems, and glassware
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A collaborative spirit with a customer-service mindset
$18 - $23 an hour
JOB TYPES: Full-time, non-exempt
SALARY:$18-$23 per hour based on experience.
