How Will You Make an Impact?:
Perform technical-level instrumentation work, including troubleshooting, recommending preventive actions, and supporting the overall PM and calibration program. Repair instruments and mechanical systems within sterile manufacturing operations to maintain production and calibration schedules. Carry out detailed repairs when possible to prevent the need for full equipment or module replacement. Shift hours will be 6pm-6am on a 2-3-2 rotation.

A Day in the Life:

  • Document instrument calibrations using company-provided procedures.

  • Perform all work with a “first-time-right” approach to ensure accuracy and quality.

  • Work efficiently to minimize downtime and support ongoing maintenance excellence in daily activities.

  • Maintain and enhance both technical and non-technical skills by participating in company-sponsored and external training programs.

  • Keep the work area and equipment clean, safe, and organized at all times.


Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation Technology, Engineering, or other applicable technical degrees is preferred.


Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory, or a related field; pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.

  • Preferred: Two years of instrumentation experience

  • Preferred: Working in a cGMP environment.

  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered. 


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to troubleshoot problematic equipment and various electrical component systems with no schematic

  • Proficiency in the use of highly technical diagnostic and test equipment.

  • Knowledge of electronic component recognition and operation.

  • Skilled in problem analysis, planning and organization.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Reading and comprehension of blueprints, manuals and training materials.

  • Ability to work well on a team.

  • Ability to work on opposite shift when needed.


Physical Requirements / Work Environment

The position requires basic mobility and coordination to move throughout work areas, including the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods. The role involves lifting and carrying 25–50 pounds regularly, with occasional pushing or pulling of 50–100+ pounds. It also requires manual dexterity for tasks such as grasping and typing, along with sustained visual focus to operate equipment and read materials. The ability to sit, reach, communicate, and hear for extended periods is essential. Must also be able to climb ladders and work at elevated heights.
