About the role

As a Mgr Accounting, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and executing Insight's accounting function and related close process to ensure accuracy of the North America General Ledger. We will count on you to lead the general ledger accounting team, serving as an accounting liaison to Insight's operating departments, and collaborating cross-functionally with finance teams including FP&A, product revenue, services and partner accounting, billing, AR, AP, and others. Along the way, you will get to:

• Manage the efficient preparation and documentation of profit & loss and balance sheet journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage and drive month and quarter-end close and consolidation processes through coordination with functional business department owners and accounting personnel.
• Apply and lead the application of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Review profit & loss and balance sheet fluctuations relating to distinct business functions.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field from a four-year College or University 
• CPA certification preferred 
• Public accounting experience required (Big four preferred) 
• 6 years+ of experience in accounting or finance function, with 2-4 years in a manager or supervisor role
