Job Description - MGR - MEDICAL IMAGING-MVH

Ensures diagnostic quality of procedures and supervises radiology services to enhance the smooth and efficient delivery of medical care to the patient. Responsible for all duties associated with the planning and progressive development and operational efficiencies of assigned area and supports department staffing plan. Responsible for coordinating all duties in to include internal and external relationships with an emphasis on quality, financial stewardship, personnel, service excellence, growth and a positive work environment. Responsible for coordinating and communicating all technical protocols, training, quality and procedures related to assigned areas and is a technical liaison as needed. Participates on hospital and department committees and other duties as assigned by the Administrative Director. Understands how to separate and combine tasks into efficient workflow. Can see opportunities for synergy and integration where others can't. Can simplify complex processes. Gets more out of fewer resources. Conflict Management: Steps up to conflict and sees them as opportunities. Reads situations quickly. Good at focused listening. Listening: Practices attentive and active listening. Has the patience to hear people out. Can accurately restate the opinions of others even when he/she disagrees. Informing: Provides the information people need to know to do their jobs and to feel good about being a member of the team and organization. Provides individuals information so that they can make accurate decisions. Is timely with information. Business Acumen: knows how business works. Knowledgeable in current and possible future practices, trends, technology, and information affecting the business and organization. Knows the competition. Type of degree: Bachelor's degree in management or related field Area of study or major: N/A Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job-related experience Other experience requirements: Enter other experience requirement or N/A Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to provide effective leadership for Imaging team members. Analytical skills are necessary to develop goals, objectives, and maintain standards of quality and safety Customer Focus: Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in services. Acts with customers in mind. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect. Deal with Ambiguity: Can effectively cope with change. Current registry by ARRT and/or NMTCB Ohio Licensure if applicable CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire
